Good Morning All
At the budget meeting that was held on July 29. I was told to put the information out that the state membership dues had been raised $5.00, and to change the membership form. There is no record in any minutes where this actually passed, therefore the fees will stay the same. If you have already sent in that amount please contact me on the amount you have overpaid, and we will either refund your money or give you a creditl. Sorry for the inconvience.

IT IS BASICALLY SAYING THAT YOU OWE $5.00 MORE DOLLARS FOR THE STATE MEMBERSHIPS, SO FOR THE ONES THAT HAVE A CREDIT, LIKE FROM JACKPOT ENTRIES I WILL TAKE IT OUT OF THERE! THE ONES THAT DON'T HAVE A CREDIT YOU WILL OWE $5.00 MORE DOLLARS AT OUR NEXT SIGNUPS!! THE STATE KIND OF FORGOT TO MENTION AT THE LAST GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING THAT THE STATE FEES WERE ALSO GOING TO GO UP!!!????!!!

I HAVE BEEN DOING MEMBERSHIPS TODAY AND THERE IS ALOT OF CONFUSION ON THE AMOUNT TO JOIN THIS YEAR. I GUESS PART OF THE PROBLEM IS I DID NOT GET THE INFORMATION OUT IN TIME AND THE NATIONAL FORM DID NOT COME ON TIME EITHER. PLEASE CHECK YOUR MEMBERS AND ALSO THE AMOUNT YOU SENT TO ME.
THE MEMBERSHIP TO JOIN THIS YEAR IS
$110.00 FOR THE NATIONAL DUES
$27.00 FOR THE STATE DUES.
TOTAL AMOUNT DUE PER CONTESTANT IS $137.00. IF YOU HAVE NOT SENT THIS AMOUNT PLEASE DO SO AND IF SO SENT TO MUCH PLEASE ALSO LET ME KNOW.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY
The 1st SIGN-UP date will be: JULY 16, 2008 at the Weber County Fairgrounds
in the lobby of the riding arena from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
The following items will need to be FILLED OUT COMPLETELY, SIGNED (by members, parents and school officials) AND NOTORIZED WHERE NECESSARY AND RETURNED TOGETHER WITH YOUR APPLICATION:
1. NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION (FRONT AND BACK)
2. UHSRA MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
3. SPIKERS MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION (FRONT AND BACK)
4. COPY OF YOUR CURRENT 4TH TERM REPORT CARD
5. MEMBERSHIP FEES AND ENTRY FEES FOR FIRST FOUR RODEOS.

Notary service will be available at signups for a $1.00 charge per entry form.
*Please note we sign up for more than one rodeo at a time so have all entry forms necessary for that week. You may write more than one check, because we signup for so many at one time.
If you cannot make it to the sign-up night please have your papers ready and send them with a friend or acquaintance.
LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE TAKEN!
**SPONSORSHIP THIS YEAR WILL BE A MANDATORY $175.00 FROM EACH MEMBER.
*SPONSORSHIPS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN JANUARY 07, 2009.
Sponsorships may be turned in at any sign-up on the proper completed form, which is on the website, or they may also be mailed to the secretary: Brenda Johnson 12306 N. 10000 W. Bothwell, Utah 84337. Please note that there are sizing guides on the sponsorship form. YOU will be responsible for turning in an ad that is ready to print. If it does not fit into the sizing guide for the amount of sponsorship, it will be returned to you.
AUGUST 27, 2008 at 5:30.m. – GENERAL SPIKER MEMBERSHIP MEETING Following sign-ups at the Golden Spike Events Center. Agenda will include election of student officers, event directors, winter practices, committees and any other comments or suggestions. Parents and members both are encouraged to attend.
*Please check the Spikers web site for updated information and posted weekly draws for your positions. Remember it is your responsibility to check your draws and make sure there are no mistakes.
